There is one weekly service held at St. Augustine’s on Sunday at 11:00 am.  Both BAS and BCP Eucharistic Liturgies are followed and services last approximately 60 minutes.  All who are baptised are invited to receive Holy Communion.

Services are followed by a time of fellowship with coffee, tea and sweets.

Special Services include:

Mid week Lenten Services as well as daily services held during Holy week

Christmas Eve Family Service and a casual service on Christmas Day

World Day of Prayer and Deanery services

Annual Mothering Sunday Service in March honouring the women of the community.

Layreaders

St. Augustine’s has 4 Layreaders trained by the Rector and licensed in the Diocese of Fredericton.  Layreaders assist the Rector during services, and lead some services as required by the Rector.

Altar Guild

St. Augustine’s Altar Guild has a membership of 10 dedicated women and are under the guidance of Sandra Boles .  These women prepare the Altar each week for Sunday Worship Services as well as any special services as required.  New members would be gratefully welcomed to help fulfill this worthwhile role.

Choir

If you can sing or just hum a tune, you are more than welcome to join the choir at St. Augustine’s.  Our choir director and organist is Cindy Dutton.  Choir rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm on Sunday mornings before the service.

Music for all services is chosen from the following publications:
